Harness the power of the moving image! This crash course will look at the basics of using projection in live performance including setting up equipment, cueing video during a show, and mapping onto different surfaces. Software will include QLab and Madmapper.

Maelstrom Collaborative Arts’ Crash Course is a series of artistic development workshops in the essentials of DIY live performance production. Crash Course provides an immersive, hands-on introduction in lighting, sound, stagecraft, and using multimedia playback software in both traditional and non-traditional venues.
