SI Tech & UFT Teacher Center -- Interest Form "Deeper Reading: Comprehending Challenging Texts Across Disciplines Book Study 2023-2024" --- Due 10/27/23
(Sponsored by the Staten Island Tech UFT Teacher Center) Using Kelly Gallagher’s Deeper Reading as the mentor text, we’ll complete a 12-hour paid CTLE-accredited interdisciplinary in-person professional learning around the practices presented in the book. We will interweave PBL and encourage all subject areas to join because adept reading fluency increases content acquisition.
