Thoughtful preparation for an emergency or disaster is one of the most important steps that a cultural institution can take to safeguard collections. This half day program will increase practical knowledge through hands-on salvage of artifacts from water. Participants will learn to salvage a variety of materials, including paintings, wooden furniture, glass/metal/ceramic objects, textiles, paper, photographs, and books.

This workshop will be capped at 25 attendees.

When: Monday, April 25, 2022, 1pm - 4pm
Where: Drake Well Museum, 202 Museum Ln, Titusville, PA 16354

If you are attending both the morning and afternoon workshops, lunch is not included. Attendees may lunch on their own or bring a bag lunch.
