info@adventureeast.comThe Mt Toby upland includes nearly 4000 acres of wooded forest surrounding four peaks including Mt Toby at 1269 feet, Roaring Mountain, Ox Hill, and Bull Hill. The area is well known for its biological diversity and has remained forested throughout the heavy logging period of the 18th and 19th centuries when most lands were clear-cut. Our walk will take us by Cranberry Pond, a glacial kettle pond, and towards Roaring Falls. The 50-foot waterfall should be spectacular in the winter with ice formations over the cascading boulders.
