Full Job Description
This is NOT a remote position. It is located in Kent, WA. No financial relocation assistance is offered, though we will put you in contact with a number of affordable short-term housing options upon accepting the role, if offered.
Full-time opening for a Digital Marketing Specialist/Marketing Assistant who will play a key role in the marketing of all Driveline Baseball publications, website, and events. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation and execution of high-quality company and client digital strategies.
Responsibilities:
To successfully perform this role, the following qualifications are essential:
· 2 years of digital, SEO, social media, and website maintenance experience minimum
· Experience with Google Analytics and Search Console
· Experience developing company-wide digital strategies and campaigns
· Experience with Mailchimp (or other email marketing systems)
· Familiarity with SEO tools and the ability to identify and fix website issues that affect SERP rankings (broken links, meta descriptions, etc.)
· Ability to maintain and place the deliverables for our partnership agreements and online advertisers (ad placements on the website, newsletters, and social media)
· Ability to optimize advertiser/client digital campaigns to provide performance expectations outlined at the time of placement
· Support publisher and sales team by having the ability to identify or create innovative digital revenue opportunities
· Perform ongoing research and competitive analysis
· Effectively recommend changes to website architecture to improve performance
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts
· Assist and troubleshoot online store and e-commerce issues
In addition:
· Support the Marketing Manager in organizing marketing campaigns and strategies
· Conduct market research and analyze social media reports/questionnaires
· Update spreadsheets and databases
· Ability to execute tests and analyze data results to achieve high SERP visibility
· Effectively recommend changes to website architecture to improve performance
· Assist with live event activities
· Ability to organize and prioritize, multi-task
· Familiarity with principles of marketing through email and social media.
· Growth mindset and creative thinker who is highly organized and has the ability to meet deadlines
· Knowledge of Adobe suite products (Premier, Photoshop, etc.), Excel, Final Cut Pro
· Knowledge of Wordpress
· Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates applying for this position should be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted repeatedly throughout the workday. Also, the physical requirements of this job require frequent walking, bending, throwing, stretching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and squatting performed daily.
