Dziesmu svētki stipend 2019
ALJA is offering 3 stipends of $100 each for our members to attend to the XV Latvian Song and Dance Festival in Toronto this summer.  (Sign up for membership at alja.org)

Stipend winners will be required to provide a reflection of their experiences at Dziesmu svētki that may be published to the ALJA news or social media pages.

Agree to the stipend's conditions
I agree to the following conditions of the stipend. Applicants must be members of ALJA prior to submitting this application. I understand that this stipend is $100 USD and that the stipend will only be reimbursed once the agreed upon recounts of experiences at Dziesmu svētki have been submitted to ALJA leadership. ALJAs education department's (ALJA izglitiba) chair, together with the ALJA executive council (valde) will evaluate each submitted application, and present the stipend to three. ALJA valde is looking for responses that stand out as especially well thought-out, creative, and heartfelt. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
