There is so much hurt and misunderstanding surrounding the topic of women in ministry! Dr. Berry is writing a book that takes us through this issue by telling her own story and experience as a scholar and woman serving Jesus to lead us into a reinvestigation of this topic. Together we will see how the Bible does not limit women in their service of Christ but actually open's doors for their full inclusion in Christian ministry.
Join us for a reading group that previews Dr. Berrys upcoming book as we consider:
- What the Bible says (and does not say) about women in the Bible.
- How the history of Bible translation and interpretation helps us understand not only this topic but modern church practices around it.
- How the original languages lead us towards these answers (and also show us that Complementarianism and Egalitariansim have nothing to do with women preaching).
The group will be limited to 20 people and take place on Sundays @ 4pm starting in October.
