Let’s face it, Liverpool’s a tough town to get a gig in (unless you’re a covers band or some kind of tribute act). But it’s also true that South West Sydney is a culturally diverse community with a vibrant underground music scene. Not that you’d know. The scene is knee deep indie and we're bringing it to the surface!
At CPAC, we’re passionate about supporting local talent and showcasing the best that South West Sydney has to offer whether it's in music or other persuasions in the arts. We’ve started a series of music events to celebrate the best up-and-coming local talent. Each show has a headline act of around four emerging acts with a similar vibe and/or genre.
In this edition of CPAC Live, the gigs will be run by the youth representatives for Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, CPAC Youth. We are a group of young individuals aged 15-25 that organise events and creatively promote young people's involvement in the arts and community.
This instalment of CPAC Live is only accepting applicants aged 12-18 years old. If you are above 18 and interested in performing, please apply to the all ages CPAC Live events via this application form:
