SARAECE Membership Form

SARAECE is a research association that promotes research and research development in the field of Early Childhood Education (ECE), including teacher education and development for ECE.

Aims of SARAECE:
• Provide an academic forum in South Africa for the development and dissemination of research in ECE.
• Facilitate cooperation and collaboration among ECE researchers in South Africa and beyond.
• Promote links between research, practice and policy in ECE.
• Raise the visibility and status of research in ECE in South Africa and beyond.  
• Embrace practice as an integral part of research development.

Benefits of SARAECE membership:
• Free attendance at mentorship workshops.
• Reduced registration fees for SARAECE’s conferences.
• Networking with other national and international academics working in the area of ECE.
• Become part of an innovative online ECE discussion group.

Annual Fee Structure:
• Individual - R550 per person
• Institutional - R1500 (maximum of 4 people)
• Postgraduate students - R200 per student
• Undergraduate student - R150 per student
• International membership - $37 /  £29 /  €34 (academic and/or student)
• Non-Profit Organisations - R700 per annum (maximum of 3 people)

Please note: Pro-rata fees will be charged for memberships for a portion of a year.
