ACCESSIBLE AND INCLUSIVE - FREE ENTRANCE TO THE CASTLE: 19 - 23 OCTOBER 2019
Open Design has always pride itself to be the most accessible platform around. A platform that also allows those who can’t afford to attend other design, innovation or tech related events. We believe that everyone has the right to participate, learn, share and collaborate. In Keeping with this philosophy at ODA it is important for us create a FREE entrance to the festival venue.

The City of Cape Town has been the home and host city of Open Design Afrika since 2013. We are grateful for their ongoing support as our official sponsor.  Cape Town is the creative capital of Afrika. It is also the first UNESCO City of Design in Afrika and acknowledged for a number of years as the most entrepreneurial city in South Afrika.
