(A) GRIT has a fund of roughly $7,500per year. As of Dec 31 2,200 has bene used. You can make purchases using the OGPA GEMS card and submit the receipts to Dr. Christina Roman chroman@uchicago.edu to have the charges allocated to the grit account. Charges must be resolved within 30 days of purchase. 

Restrictions: needs pre-approval with Christina at least a week’s notice, cannot be used for in-house (UChicago folks') honoraria, cannot be used for cash prices. Use this money before using Dean’s Council Money. 

Method: (1) Submit a purchase request through this form more than a week before your event. (2) Make the purchase out of pocket and submit your receipts to Christina for reimbursement along with a reimbursement form.

(B) BSD Dean’s Council (our contact is the Grad Student Affairs Administrator, Dr. Melissa Lindbergh, PhD, mlindber@bsd.uchicago.edu) - for social events for current students. Restrictions: cannot be used for honoraria, cannot be used for cash prices, more details on exact restrictions here). Method: can use the GEMs card (contact retention co-director or treasurer) or pay yourself and get reimbursed later.

(C) PSD Diversity and Inclusion (our contact is the Director, Aleksandra Ninova-Parris, aninovaparris@uchicago.edu) - this has fewer restrictions than the BSD money because it came from a donation. It can be used for honoraria and promotional items such as swag.
