Booking for Holy Communion on All Saints Day 1st November 2020
We are holding spoken services of Holy Communion at 9.30am on all Sundays in October, with second and fourth Sundays being geared especially towards families.

Because of COVID-19 we need to limit numbers and follow social distancing requirements.

Households can sit together but must be at least 2m from other worshippers and will be directed to their seats by sidespeople. Entry to church will be through the South Door (near the hall - please follow the signs). One church hall toilet will be available for use and the sidespeople will ensure this is cleaned after each use.

All worshippers (except children under the exempted age) will need to wear a face covering to church, and the service will be spoken rather than sung, though we will try to make it family friendly. Parents are asked to remain with their children within their allocated pew throughout the service.

The Rector will consecrate bread and wine wearing a face covering and will distribute bread in accordance with strict hand sanitisation guidelines set out by the Church of England.

If you wish to join in the worship you will need to book using the form below. Please give your name and a contact telephone number which would only be used in the event of a confirmed COVID case if "track and trace" was needed.

Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis - you will be only be notified in person if we cannot accomodate you, or if you repeatedly book and fail to attend. Once you have booked you should see a screen notifying you that you are successfully booked in.

Alternatively you can book by contacting the Rector directly on 0121 7302801.

If you arrive at church without booking, you will be asked to wait and only admitted to worship if there is space for you. It is possible you could be turned away.

The currently capacity of the church varies depending on size of household. We can use 28 pews to seat households, and of these 12 are large enough to seat individuals at either end. We are monitoring our capacity and so far we haven't needed to turn anyone away, but this could happen in the case of larger services, in which case the order in which people booked would be taken into account and a record kept of who could not be accommodated.

Children must be old enough to understand that they must stay within a pew with their parents throughout the service to be admitted to church. If you have young children, or have health considerations please consider whether you feel safe to attend. If you have COVID-19 symptoms, please stay away.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time and I hope as we begin worshipping together again it will bring you a sense of comfort. If you are unable to attend, recordings of the sermons are online, and we are thinking of you.

God bless,
Rev Mark
