Requirements for this position are as follows. Please only apply if you meet all of the requirements.

- Must be (or be willing to be) a Registered Psychotherapist with DORA
- Must be comfortable working with children in a group setting
- Must have availability to lead a preschool group on Thursdays from 9:00-11:30 (Downtown Denver area)
- Must be willing to continue leading groups and seeing any current clients over the Summer 2020 months
- Must be willing to complete entire Practicum and Internship here (Spring 2020 through Spring 2021)
- Must be willing to have a background check
- Must be an ally of the LGBTQ+ community - this is non-negotiable

Realistic Serenity Behavioral Health is a group private practice specializing in Play Therapy with children and adolescents. It is a small setting where you will work closely with other mental health professionals. In addition to clinical skills you will also learn about the business side of how a private practice works. The Clinical Director and Owner is a RPT-S as well as an APT Approved Provider. We have several APT approved trainings throughout the year which you will have access to at no charge.

Our ideal candidate will have some experience with Play Therapy and/or working with children in general, a desire to learn more about Play Therapy techniques, will be self motivated and directed and flexible to meet the changing needs of the practice. We have a fun group of clinicians and we very much operate as a team. This is a great opportunity for the individual that might someday like to open their own Play Therapy practice.
