Lighthouse Ministry Inc. of Salem, NJ, is seeking a reliable, hands-on summer Intern to assist with our community garden and summer programs.

Salem, NJ, is a small historic town in a rural county surrounded by beautiful farmland scenery. Salem is predominantly a diverse, low income community and food desert with many distressed neighborhoods.

Below is the basic summer schedule. More hours may be available but all interns will be offered these hours. Please check those that most closely resemble your availability.

Only 8:30-12 with some debrief meetings in afternoons

All Interns participate in Project Restore Week in Garden or on a house project

I can work the whole schedule: 8:30-12 with some debrief meetings in afternoons AND 8:30- 4:45 for Camp Days- July 10-14, July 24-27, August 7-9

Additional hours may be provided for those able and wanting more time- Camp planning, extra garden maintenance, watering/harvesting on weekends, possible Friday field trips, etc
