36th Ward 2022 Budget Survey on the City's 2022 Budget and American Rescue Plan Funds
Over the next 2 years, the City of Chicago will receive approximately $1.9 billion from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) in effort to help the City recover from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the U.S. Department of Treasury, the following are some acceptable uses for ARPA funding:  assistance to households, businesses, nonprofits, and industries such as hospitality and tourism; paying essential employees or grants to their employers; and other aid to impacted industries.

As valued community members of the 36th Ward, we want to hear how YOU would like ARPA funding to be used. Please submit this survey on or before, Thursday, September 23, 2021. Every submitted survey is important and will be included within the upcoming budget discussions, especially, as Alderman Villegas advocates funding priorities for this year's budget season.

Please keep in mind that the City Council does NOT approve the budgets of sister agencies like Chicago Public Schools, Chicago Transit Authority, Chicago Park District, and the City Colleges. Each of these entities have a separate budget process.

On behalf of the 36th Ward Team, we thank you in advance and we look forward to receiving your survey submissions!  #YourVoiceOurCommittment
