Partners in Anoka County MN, including the Anoka Conservation District and the cities of Fridley, Coon Rapids, Anoka, and Andover were recently awarded a Demonstration Neighborhood Grant through the Lawns to Legumes Program.
bwsr.state.mn.us/Lawns-Legumes-ProgramNow, we need your help! We are seeking interested residents in the Mississippi and Rum River Corridor pictured below who would like to be part of a Demonstration Neighborhood and install pollinator habitat in your front yard.
Landowner interest and involvement in this program is critical to its success. Landowners will receive training, $750 in cost share funds, design and installation assistance, and ongoing coaching.
