At the same time, linear thinking in both leadership and coaching is giving way to systemic thinking and beyond that to complex adaptive systems thinking. Coaches need tools and approaches that allow them to work with layers of systems, if they are to move beyond quick fix solutions to flexible and evolving approaches.
