This form is to collect the contact information for anyone interested in becoming a volunteer board member for PenguiCorp, the Organization that is responsible for Penguicon.
Job responsibilities for board members are to run the year over year direction of Penguicon, select the ConChair for each year, and help guide that ConChair to run a successful Penguicon.
In order to be eligible, you must not have ever been convicted of a financial felony. Experience with organizing large events or communities is smiled upon but not required.
A meeting to interview interested members will be scheduled. Details for this virtual meeting will be emailed out to you prior. Decisions may not be made at the meeting. We will be holding interviews before the deadline date and be selecting board members as we find suitable candidates, so please get your applications in early.
Your name will be public once you are a member of the board. It will then be published in our meeting agendas and on the website. Please consider your comfort level for this kind of transparency before applying.
