Danielle's Tech Hours
Danielle's Tech Hours are an initiative of The STEAM Connection to support young innovators and changemakers. Learn more about The STEAM Connection at www.steamconnection.org.

Danielle's Tech Hours are free and informal standalone virtual office hours with youth inventor, founder, and activist Danielle Boyer for students ages 18 and under who are interested in developing their technical and social change projects. This is not intended to be homework help but rather an opportunity to learn how to develop yourself and build your invention, organization, or project and is self-directed. You'll have the opportunity to ask Danielle and her Tech Hour guests questions and feedback and have their help in taking your work to the next level. This is like small group mentoring to help your project become its very best. You will also have the opportunity to see our latest inventions and tech before they are released, especially our newest biodegradable creations.

Danielle Boyer is a young award-winning Indigenous (Ojibwe) robotics inventor, author, environmental activist, and advocate for youth who has been teaching kids since she was ten years old. Danielle creates innovative learning solutions utilizing robots that she invents and gives to kids for free to make technical education accessible. Armed with a desire to make the technical space an equitable one, she created The STEAM Connection, a nonprofit that has helped her reach hundreds of thousands of children worldwide with life-changing education. Danielle’s affordable tools champion the educational space and cost less than 20 USD to manufacture. She has been named one of PEOPLE Magazine’s Girls Changing the World, a L’Oréal Paris Woman of Worth, and a Verizon x Clinton Foundation Social Innovation Challenge Winner.
