About the Berkshire Waldorf Aftercare Program:
The BWS Aftercare Program offers creative, nurturing programming for toddlers through 8th graders which will include the arts, science, games, physical activities, and free play. During each 5-9 week session, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of staff facilitated age-appropriate activities. Similar to school day programming, the aftercare program will take place outdoors, weather permitting.

We seek enthusiastic staff to join our team between 2-5 days per week. Staff will supervise free play, snack time, and facilitate an activity based on their skill set and the age of students in their assigned cohort which will have a maximum of 10 students.
 
Program Hours:
3:00-5:00/15pm. *Please note that staff will need to be on site 2:45pm-5:15/30pm.
 
Schedule Overview:
3:00-3:30/45pm: Gather Students, Free Play & Snack
3:30/45-4:30/45pm: Activity (*Duration will depend on activity and age of participants.)
4:45-5:00/15pm: Free Play & Pick Up
 
Preference will be given to applicants who meet the following:
• You are passionate about working with kids!
• You enjoy collaborating and working on a team to deliver high quality programming.
• You enjoy working with kids and have prior experience teaching and/or leadership experience in a school, afterschool, community organization, and/or camp setting.
• You are conscientious and are committed to the safety, well-being, and growth of the program participants.
