Co-Teaching PD Series & Support Network

TARGET AUDIENCE: Teachers in co-teaching pairs/teams in grades PreK – 12. Teachers must attend with their co-teaching partner(s). The cohort is limited to 12 co-teaching teams [24 educators total]. You must commit to attending this series as a team.

OVERVIEW: This professional learning series has been customized to: (1) provide co-teaching teams with practical knowledge and skills regarding effective practices AND (2) support each team with virtual coaching opportunities during the 24-25 school year.

Important Note: Only co-teaching teams will be eligible to participate. Due to the focus and structure of the series, you must attend as a co-teaching team. Space is limited so please register early.

Graduate credit will also be available through Wright State for interested educators (separate fee applies)

Date: June 2024 - May 2025

Deadline to Register is March 10, 2024.

Registration Fees:

$ 125.00 per person for Hardin, Shelby, and Logan County Public School Districts, Boards of DD, & Career Centers ($250.00 per team)

$ 175 per person for all other organizations ($350.00 per team)

** All Educators MUST attend with a co-teaching partner. **

PD Series is LIMITED to 12 TEAMS.

CO-TEACHING SERIES DESCRIPTION:
Session 1 (Part 1 Face-to-Face): Introduction to Co-Teaching Workshop
Date: June 20 (Face-to-Face @ Indian Lake High School)
Session: 8:00 am - 3:15 pm

Session 2 (Part #2 - Face-to-Face): Co-Teaching Approaches & Overcoming Challenges
Date: September 13 (Face-to-Face @ Indian Lake High School)
Time: 8:00am- 3:00 pm with lunch on own

Session 3 (Part 3 - Virtual) – Team Coaching & Support
Format: Virtual Team Coaching [Zoom & SIBME]
Dates: Between September 14 and December 1 **
**Will be scheduled Based on Co-Teaching Team & Facilitator Availability

Session 4 (Part 4 - Virtual): Team Coaching & Support
Format: Virtual Team Coaching [Zoom & SIBME]
Dates: Between January 8- April 12 **
**Will be scheduled Based on Co-Teaching Team & Facilitator Availability

Session 5 (Part 5 - Face-to-Face): Sharing Co-Teaching Success & Resources for Future Growth
Date: May 2 (Face-to-Face @ Indian Lake)
Time: 12:00-3:00 pm [Lunch will be Provided]
