I understand the minimum class requirements that I must take at the CLT Cirque & Dance Center. *
I understand that if I am in the All Around and Focus Track Programs that I or a family member must volunteer a minimum of 4 hours.
For my volunteer hours, I or a family member can help with the following:
I understand that the Charlotte Cirque & Dance Center is a non-profit connected to the professional performance company of Caroline Calouche & Co.  Our mission is to inspire people of diverse backgrounds to explore beyond their boundaries through performance and education.  I understand that I am a representative of this non-profit inside and outside the studio and performance space and will represent the organization well at all times. *

I understand that during rehearsals I will come prepared with the appropriate shoes, attire and mental readiness to contribute to the creative process.   *

I will be on time to classes and rehearsals.  On time means on the dance floor ready to dance. *

I/We understand that it is my/our responsibility to cast and organization to do my/our part in maintaining a positive learning atmosphere that is inclusive to all.  (aka no bullying, gossiping or negative behavior) *

I understand that if I am having trouble with a movement or choreography that I need to ask for help from a teacher, rehearsal director or choreographer and utilize Open Practice to practice. *

The participant understands that he/she will strive to be 100% present and invested in all their classes. *

I/We understands that if he/she misses a class or rehearsal that they must either ask fellow students/dancers or the teacher what they missed and seek help to learn it prior to the next class or rehearsal.   *

I understand that an excused absence is either injury, illness, death in immediate family, religious obligation or academic school obligation that affects your grade.  I understand that I have 1 unexcused absence and after 3 excused rehearsal absences, the artistic staff will re-consider my ability to perform the role to meet our expectations and for safety reasons. *

I/We understand that casting decisions are made by the artistic team.  If you have a concern over your ability to do a role that you were assigned, please reach out to your rehearsal director.  I/We understand that we will perform the roles given to the participant to the best of his/her ability.   *
