Queering Lit: April 27th with Jasmine Cooray

💗  Queering Lit is a gentle workshop series on the 'business of writing' for queer writers of colour.

💗  Each month, we'll hear from a writer/creative about their journey to publication or production.

💗  We'll get into all the niggly bits - pay/ grants/ process/ mentors/ how we can shape the literary industry.

Timing: 1-3pm.

Location: Jacksons Lane Arts Centre, 269a Archway Road London N6 5AA.

Guest Speaker: Jasmine Cooray is a poet, psychotherapist and facilitator. Her debut poetry collection ‘Inheritance’ was published with Bad Betty Press in November 2023 and received a Poetry Book Society Recommendation. She can often be found up a tree, dancing to Mariah, making a venn diagram, or elaborately collaging a bird.

RSVP below. Please note, this is a dedicated space for queer creatives of colour.
