2021 is the Year of Environmental Ambassadors. The Jersey City Office of Sustainability is partnering with the Jersey City Public Schools to promote awareness of important issues impacting the environment. As a part of this work, we will be hosting the third annual Sustainability STEAM Challenge to increase education and awareness of sustainability issues in the community. For the last two years, we have seen some excellent student projects that have generated and made public many innovative solutions for Jersey City. We invite you to participate in this year's Sustainability STEAM challenge.  This year, more than ever, it is imperative that we show empathy, collaborate as global citizens, and empower our youth to share their voices and ideas.
