12:00-13:00 How to Read Scientific Papers
The first webinar will help you to upgrade your reading skills and will answer questions such as:
How to efficiently read papers without getting lost in them?
How to quickly spot the most relevant information?
The webinar is given by Prof. Dr. W.J. Fokkens, who is an Editor-in-chief of Rhinology journal and as an author of more than 300 scientific papers (including The European Position Paper on Rhinosinusitis and Nasal Polyps and multiple Cochrane reviews - tasks for which you have to read especially a lot).

14:00-15:00 How to review Scientific Papers
The second webinar will be all about performing a peer review of a scientific article. You probably already have encountered those reviews, when publishing your own papers. However, you could also be invited to write a peer review yourself. How can you write a constructive review that really helps the author to improve their paper? Where to start? How to make sure you don't spend a whole working day on one article?
This webinar is given by two speakers: Dr. J. Mackenbach, who is an assistant professor at the department of Epidemiology and Data Science at the Amsterdam UMC, and Dr. S Reitsma, who is an Associate Editor of the Rhinology journal. Both have a lot of experience in writing peer reviews. In addition, as far as Dr. S. Reitsma works as an Associate Editor, he can provide an insight into the requirements for journals of peer reviews.
