The STEM & Buds Summer Camp is for students entering grades 6-8 for the 2021-2022 school year. The camp is designed for students to explore the intersection of science and civics through an individualized STEM research project, small-group interdisciplinary challenges, one-on-one peer mentorship, and direct discussions with industry leaders.

STEM & Buds will hold the following COST-FREE summer sessions in 2021*:

1. Pittsburgh Session 1: July 19th - 23rd, 9 AM to 3 PM EST (fully virtual)
2. Pittsburgh Session 2: July 26th - 30th, 9 AM to 3 PM EST (fully virtual)

All camps will teach the same material, so you are free to choose whichever session is more convenient.

STEM & Buds is a for-youth, by-youth 501(c)(3) organization redefining inclusivity and accessibility in STEM by bridging students to mentors, shaping ideas into initiatives, and translating science for civics. Our programming consists of after-school chapters, summer camps (like this!), and outreach initiatives. We are so excited to meet and work with your kid :)
