Request For Proposal - Quality Arts Experiences For All Ages


Mankato Area Public Schools Community Education Enrichment + Leisure has acquired Arts Funding from the Minnesota State Arts Board Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund. 


This funding will allow our department the opportunity to hire a variety of artist educators, committed to our mission of providing high quality programming at an introductory level. Through this grant and courses provided from February 2024 - December 2024, we intend to use this funding to extend art engagements to all ages and abilities.


We are accepting proposals for 1-3 session courses, representing a wide variety of arts disciplines including but not limited to:  visual art, music, dance, theater, needle / fiber art, pottery, drama, creative writing, and more.

Pay

Artists will be paid $100 per class session. Artist course proposals may be for 1, 2 or 3 session experiences. Hour long sessions are preferred, but creative options available for 75 or 90 minute classes that meet once or up to 3 times (total). A maximum compensation of $300 is paid for an arts experience meeting 3 hours.
