Definition of sex trafficking:
Sex trafficking is a form of sexual exploitation that constitutes a criminal offence under the Criminal Code of Canada. It involves recruiting, harbouring, transporting, obtaining or providing a person for sexual purposes. This is done using force, physical or psychological coercion, or deception. Most people trafficked for sexual exploitation are women and girls, but anyone can be a target.
All submissions are anonymous, although it is essential to note that we will require some potentially identifying information to follow up accordingly. We can only respond if we are provided with the necessary information.
