At this time we are not certain how many newly arriving international students for the next semester intend to participate in MIFP.  We will know more at the start of the next semester.  Please feel free to sign up here so we can be aware of your interest and contact you for a match at the start of the next semester.

WHAT IS A COMMUNITY FRIEND
This form is an application to become a Community Friend to a University of Montana student from another country. The student doesn't live with you, but we do ask that you visit with your student at least once a month. For further information about being an MIFP Community Friend, please visit our website.

WHO WILL SEE MY ENTRY
The information you fill out here is available to the MIFP Board. It is used to match you with a student and to send invitations to our activities. The information is also available to the Global Engagement Office as they occasionally communicate between Students and their Community Friends.

HOW WILL YOU CONTACT ME
Most of our communication with you will be by email. Please be sure that the first email field is an address you check frequently. Your Student will receive this email address to communicate with you. Occasionally, we may call you for important events.

IF YOU ARE A UM STUDENT FROM THE US
If you are a traditional UM Student and would like to befriend an International Student, there is a different program for you. For further information, please contact Global Engagement Office: (406) 243-2288.
