The route of the thru-hike exists, but to make it a "real" thru-hike will require the coordination of several local, county, state, and federal agencies.

We will have more sway with these agencies if we can demonstrate there is support for the thru-hike. So here's your opportunity to show your support. Just add your name and where you live to this petition. Your information will only be used as documentation of public support for the thru-hike.
