Why do we need you?
We are looking for volunteer Community Champions to help expand our reach to local communities. Could you spare a relatively small amount of your time to make a significant difference in helping us achieve our vision of a world where lives are no longer limited by Duchenne muscular dystrophy?
What you’ll be doingBeing creative in organising events and collections in your local area (e.g. pub quizzes, crafting sessions, coffee mornings, bowling nights etc)
Identifying fundraising partnership opportunities and nominating Action Duchenne with local groups and organisations (e.g. Mayor's Funds, local schools, businesses, supermarkets, Round Tables, Masonic Groups, WI)
Using your social skills to build relationships with local organisations and schools to host events, or take part in other fundraising activity
Representing Action Duchenne at local events (e.g. cheque presentations, Family Fun Days, school fairs)

What we need from youA commitment of at least 1 day a month or 2 hours per week
The minimum age of this volunteer role is 18, or supervised by someone over 18
