Explorers POP/COP Booking

Where: Mt Albert Presbyterian Church, 14 Mt Albert Rd
Cost: $5 per pizza per member child or adult / $10 per pizza per nonmember child or adult
Pay to: Account 12-3027-0291833-01 with your family name and the activity name as your reference.
Please pay online by Thursday night prior to the even to ensure there is time for payment to clear so that the Pizza order can be placed online in plenty of time for Saturday night.

We have three groups running at this session currently: Older POP (11+), Younger POP (9-10) and Construction ie COP

POP, or Philosophy over Pizza, is for students (11+) who want to do more than "hang out" on a Saturday evening.
We have started a young POP group (age 9-10) - facilitated by some Explorers parents/educators

We meet together to share pizza and discuss the "BIG ISSUES" but, more importantly, we learn how to discuss any issue. We might discuss : "what do I mean when I say something is real?", "when I say, we know this is true, how can I be sure that it is true?", "does intuition have anything to do with logic?", "what does it mean if I say, this thing is beautiful?"

COP, or Construction over Pizza, is a loosely guided construction activity using one of Explorers' many construction sets. What will it be next?

Please note the cost of $5 is to cover the cost of the pizza which is the value range from the local Domino's. So you pay the amount that reflects the number of pizzas you order. To keep it simple we encourage ordering of the value range only.
