Midwest Coven Cast is currently piloting a contributor submission program for our eNewsletter. Currently, we are considering the following works for inclusion:

-- Original Art (photography, painting, graphic design, etc.) 

-- Short Stories (Fiction)

-- Serialized Fiction (Submit first 2 installments, provide an estimated number of additional installments w/general synopsis for what remains)

-- Personal Essays

-- Poetry (literary or spoken word)

-- Music

-- Recipes

-- Meditations

-- Rituals

-- Reviews (Book/TV/Music/Podcast, etc.)

-- & More

Works should be pagan/witchy/magic/occult/new age in theme (or closely related). For the submission to be considered, you must affirm that you own the rights to the work and are in a position to grant permission to Midwest Coven Cast LLC to publish your work. 

All works will be submitted in a digital format and most will require the use of a Google Drive and/or a Google account. Artwork photos should be uploaded to your Google Drive in a high resolution format; written works should be uploaded to your Google Drive as a .docx or a .pdf; Video files should be uploaded to your personal YouTube page; audio should be uploaded to either YouTube or other reputable audio streaming service. You will share a link to your work from either your drive, YouTube channel or audio streaming service. Be sure your links will be viewable to Midwest Coven Cast so we can review your work.

For example: If you are sharing a document or photo from your Google Drive, be sure you have granted appropriate permissions and the correct link. Please note: this will only give us permission to view the linked file. It will not grant us permission to any other aspect of your Google Drive. 

Works chosen for publication will be published in our online newsletter on midwestcovencast.com and be featured in various social media posts about the issue in which it appears. Items chosen for publication in the newsletter will come with a one time $10 reward to be paid to the owner of the work. Owner must be able to be paid either via Paypal, Venmo, or CashApp to receive the reward and it will be delivered after publication in the newsletter. 

Although most editorial decisions will be made by owners of Midwest Coven Cast LLC, some submissions will be featured on our Patreon feed to allow our patrons the opportunity to vote for particular potential features in the newsletter. There is no reward for works who make it to this point in the selection process, but we will share contact and/or artist/creator information with our patrons, which could bring eyes to the creator's site, socials, etc. If you happen to be a patron, you are more than welcome to vote when these opportunities arise (yes, even if the vote is for your own piece!).

Depending on the volume of submissions, Midwest Coven Cast LLC may not have the time or resources to respond to every submission or inquiry, but we will always reach out (via email) to the creator if the work is selected for publication in the newsletter so we can finalize and confirm details before it is published. So, be sure to look for any emails from midwestcovencast@gmail.com.

Please limit to three (3) submissions TOTAL for any person at any given time. Limited to ONE (1) submission per form (i.e. additional submissions will require additional form completions).
