These after school LEGO Robotic programs will be capped at 12 students. Each student will have their own ROBOT to assemble, program, and share with the class. Utilizing the EV3 Expansion set students will have a wide range of supplementary elements to continue the theme of critical thinking and creativity featured in the EV3 Core Set. Students will broaden their robotics experience with new structural and mechanical elements, and additional building instructions and programs.
Each student will have the opportunity to explore several different designs of the student's choosing. Students will have time to program and create solutions to challenging problems with their creations. These sessions are for introductory to advanced students. Students will utilize the UC's full library of LEGO Robotic kits. Each student will work under the direction of the UC Robotics instructor. This self paced course will have students building and coding several different machines and mechanisms of their choosing. Students will record their their progress in their own digital journal.
