Summer 2023 Workshop Preference Selection

We will conduct two sessions of the Cultural Approach Workshop.

*Session One: "Fundamentals of the Cultural Approach," 5 through 9 June 2023.

**Session Two: "Advanced Methods of the Cultural Approach," 12 through 16 June, 2023.

All sessions will be conducted on the RiverPark Campus of Columbus State University, from 9am to 4pm and will include field trips. Participants will receive a stipend of $700 upon completion of the workshop. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided daily at no cost to participants.

Attendance is open to K-12 educators, education staff, and those who have direct teaching responsibilities for students. Preference is given to teachers of the humanities subjects.

You may attend only one session.

*You may attend the Fundamentals workshop if you have never previously attended one in the summer or if it has been at least six years since you attended and have not attended an Advanced Methods workshop.

**You may attend the Advanced Methods workshop only if you have attended the Fundamentals Workshop in any previous summer.

You will be notified by 5 May of your selection to attend, at which time those on the waiting list will be notified of their selection.
