Poetry is a tool of empowerment and catharsis, helping us to process complex feelings and experiences that might be difficult to express in a linear way.
“Poetry Heals” is a new offering from Time To Tell, a four-session virtual workshop specifically for survivors. The first cycle of Poetry Heals: Vessels for Our Writing will focus on poetic form - the haiku, abecedarian, ghazal and golden shovel. We will discuss the structure, look at examples and write our own.
Schedule: Sundays at 1 pm PT/4 pm ET: March 3, March 10 & April 7, 21
Cost: $100 for four sessions
Facilitator/Instructor: Karo Ska (she/they) is a South Asian and Eastern European gender-fluid writer living on unceded Tongva land.
