2020-2021 9th Grade - Course Request
We are looking forward to you returning next year to the Junior High! Please READ & COMPLETE the following form so we will know what courses you are requesting to take next year.

As a rising Freshmen, you need to know that all courses are extremely important but now you are attempting to earn graduation credit for most of your courses. There are a few exceptions to this: study hall and sports.You will be provided with more information on graduation credits, honor graduates, class rank, graduation requirements, and much more when you return in the fall or at the appointed time. For now, know that each class you request is essential to your high school career.

Think of this as filling up your schedule for next year. We have 9 class periods at the Junior High. Some of the courses are mandatory. You will not request or see these. We will automatically put those on for you when all requests are complete.

Take Note:
*If you are currently in a Special Education Resource course please choose that for next year. If you are unsure or you are not in a Special Education Resource course, choose the regular course.

*If you are interested in PreAP courses, please know these courses are more rigorous and more challenging. Contracts for PreAP will be available at the beginning of the school year with more details.

*If you play two sports (baseball, basketball, volleyball, softball, and/or football) that take up TWO CLASS PERIODS, you only have the option for one elective. Therefore, one of your sports can count as your required PE half credit if you want. You will have a separate question to complete. If you want to enroll in regular PE/Health that is fine! Students whose sports take two class periods will have first choice in the semester elective courses. (Cheer and Dance excluded.)

*Art Appreciation is a semester course. It will count for your fine art graduation requirement.
