Elkton is planning another fabulous four weeks of K-12 summer school experiences for the summer of 2022!
The schedule for Summer 2022:
• Session 1: July 5-14; 4 days per week from 8:30-1pm
• Session 2: July 18-28; 4 days per week from 8:30-1pm
Programs Available:
• K-8 summer enrichment camp (for students entering 1st-8th grades) will be similar to last year: based on a STEAM model designed to enrich skills and knowledge and will include activities related to science exploration with a natural resource focus, building and making, artistic expression, outdoor and athletic movement, and more! This year we will also be incorporating more academic activities to build skills and decrease learning gaps created during the pandemic years.
• HS summer school has three tracks:
* Credit Recovery for students entering 10-12 grade who need catching up due to past failed classes.
* Credit Enrichment for those entering 10-12 grade who want to retake parts of former classes to improve GPA.
* Explore Oregon for students entering into 9th-12th; this program will include in-class readings and discussions as well as field trips all around the state to explore its history and culture.
• Transportation and meals* will be provided
*We encourage all summer school families to fill out the Free & Reduced Meal Application for the 2021-22 school year; this is 100% confidential and is recommended for registration, even if a family doesn't qualify. The link is
