*Rehearsals will take place in the Horizon Middle School choir room on Monday's from 4:30-5:30 pm with the exception of Monday, Feb. 19th which is a no school day, therefore no rehearsal. We will move that missed rehearsal from Monday, Feb. 19th to Thursday, Feb. 22nd 4:30-5:30 pm.

Bismarck Public Schools and the CHS/HMS Choral Departments invite your child to participate in the 4th & 5th Grade Children’s Choir. This choral experience enrollment is extended to students who are attending the Horizon Middle School and Century High School feeder elementary schools. It is an excellent opportunity for students to develop their musical skills and have the enjoyment of singing with other students. Your child will be able to meet and interact with many students from different schools and may develop long-lasting friendships, which will extend into middle school and beyond. The director of this choir is Connie Stordalen, Director of Choirs at Horizon Middle School.

Rehearsals will be held in the choir room at Horizon Middle School from 4:30-5:30 pm on Monday's beginning Monday, Jan.22nd! (Monday, Feb. 19th is a no school day therefore no rehearsal. For that week only we will move our rehearsal to Thursday, Feb. 22nd 4:30-5:30 pm.). A concert with the Horizon Middle School 8th grade choir, Century High School Chorale and Children’s Choir will be on Thursday, March 7th @ 7:15 pm. The March 7th concert will be held at Horizon Middle School.

The participation fee for this choir is $20. Please pay this fee through your child's My Payments Plus account. Please look for "CHS/HMS Children's Elementary Choir Registration Fee" when looking for this fee.

Each singer will receive a children's choir t-shirt that will be worn at the concert. Singers are asked to wear black pants with their t-shirts for the concert.
