OHSBCA Scholarship Society
The Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association is proud to sponsor its Scholarship Society Award.
In an effort to continuously reward student-athletes that excel both in the classroom and on the basketball court,
the OHSBCA would like to honor senior players with a Gold Certificate and junior players with a Silver Certificate for their academic excellence.
For your players to be eligible for this Scholarship Society Award, the coach must complete this nomination form and the players must meet the criteria.
For the Gold Certificate, the player must be a senior, have attained a 3.2 Grade Point Average for Seven Semesters, and must exemplify the highest type of citizenship and sportsmanship.
For the Silver Certificate, the player must be a junior, have attained a 3.2 Grade Point Average for Five Semesters, and must exemplify the highest type of citizenship and sportsmanship.
All GPA’s submitted should be to two decimal places. All winners will receive a gold or silver certificate and their
names and schools will be recognized in our HOOPLINES magazine.
NOTE: Due to the sensitivity of the information, only the player’s name and school will be listed in Hooplines.
