To be considered for a scholarship for one or more children for our after-school or specialty programs at Boys & Girls Clubs of Western PA branches, please fill out the form below.

Scholarships will be offered to a limited number of members at every Branch. Proof of income in the form of a pay stub, W2 or tax return is required to access scholarship funding and prove financial need before scholarship funds are released. A photo showing income verification can be sent to scholarships@bgcwpa.org or shown to your local Branch Director after you apply. Scholarship awardees are expected to have good daily attendance to the after school program as part of the requirements of accepting the scholarship or may lose scholarship funds.  

Specialty program scholarships are more limited but due to generous corporate donors we have funds available for both our STEM and Sports specialty programs this year.

All scholarship applicants will be notified within a week of application of the decision and sent a code for our ACTIVE registration system. Scholarships are awarded on a sliding scale similar to that used to determine free/reduced lunch status at schools.

Scholarship applications are due by the 15th of each month to be considered for the following month. For example, all scholarship applications for the October after school or specialty program must be received by September 15th.
