Out of the Depths: Offering Our Questions to God

Riverside Park, 1500 E. Park Place, Milwaukee, WI

We will gather amidst the beauty of creation around a simple bonfire. This time of prayer will include a friendly atmosphere, simple Taize-style music, words by Deacon Larry Normann, ritual action, and time for personal reflection, all focusing on the questions that the abuse crisis raises for each of us. We will end the evening with refreshments and an opportunity to meet and mingle with the Awake community.

Wherever you are on your faith journey, whatever experiences and emotions you bring to this issue, you are welcome with us, just as you are.

A few notes:
- We have also reserved the Community Room inside the Urban Ecology Center building as a back up in case of rain. We will notify you via email if we're planning to meet inside instead.
- The amphitheater includes rustic wooden benches, but you are welcome to bring a bag chair if that would be more comfortable for you.
- The amphitheater is a short walk north from the UEC parking lot. We will send more specific directions via email to those who registered.

LOOKING FOR DIRECTIONS?
We will gather at the Urban Ecology Center Outdoor Amphitheater, located in Riverside Park, Milwaukee. You can use the address 1500 E. Park Place to find the UEC, then park in the lot over the bridge, just west of the building. Follow the trail on the west side of the bridge down towards the bike path and take the first left to the amphitheater. We'll make sure to have someone waiting to direct you to our location!
