Are you smitten with Jane's Walk, excited to get involved, have a great idea to share regarding revisioning--seeing the city in a new way or looking at things that aren't working and how we might change them for the better in our local communities or greater MKE--but leading a mobile "walk" event (walk/bike ride/hike/paddle/wheelchair roll/jog) isn't really feasible for what you or your organization has to share?

Well, you can join us in another capacity, which we're calling "Community Partners."  If your organization is able to host a film screening about Jane Jacobs or another relevant film, a book discussion, a speaker, a community service project, etc., that will also serve to promote Jane's Walk MKE and its month of "walks," we'd love to have you on board!

You simply organize the event in your community and provide the space and necessary supplies (such as projector and screen) or note what participants must bring themselves (gloves, shovels, rakes, etc.). You can even partner together with other organizations or businesses in your neighborhood for an event!

We will promote your event as part of Jane's Walk MKE 2020 and also invite you and your organization, as a Jane's Walk MKE Community Partner, to join us at our MOVERS & SHAKERS LAUNCH PARTY on Friday, May 1, 2020, to promote your organization in a unique way. (Think beyond tables full of pamphlets. Think fun, creative, innovative!)
