LB Bird Friendly Community Event: Yes, please Book my Burger(s)!
Thanks for helping the Curly Stewart Scholarship Committee cater the BBQ BURGERS at the Lions Bay Bird Friendly community event on Saturday, May 14th! BURGERS WILL BE AVAILABLE BETWEEN 11am and 1pm... the perfect way to finish off the Trailblazer's walk at 11am to see the eagles, or have lunch before Deanna Lewis, a member of the Squamish Nation, talks about the importance and uses of indigenous plants at 1pm  :-)

If you're taking part in the hike, please meet at the Village Hall at 11 - check in at the door. Feel free to take a look at the informational exhibits by the Bird Friendly and Bear Smart teams, the Howe Sound Biosphere, the Native Plant Garden and their new Butterflyway Project until John Dudley leads you out onto the trail.

Details and the full program can be found on the EVENTS PAGE at www.lionsbaybirdfriendly.ca.

There are also 2 EVENTS FOR KIDS AT 9.15am for 9.30 (Build-a-birdhouse and a Bird Friendly Art project) and Deanna Lewis, a member of the Squamish Nation, will be talking about the importance and uses of indigenous plants at 1pm.
