Ōtaki Beach Education Day
Kia ora e te whānau,
We need adult/parental assistance for our school's upcoming Beach Education Day. As per Government and Surf Lifesaving requirements, parents will need to be vaccinated with either their first or both vaccinations completed.
Without your assistance it will be impossible for us to provide the tamariki with the level of support required to deliver a safe, fun and educational day at the beach.  Parents and Teachers are expected to participate in both water and beach activities. The programme requires a minimum of 1 adult to every 5 students throughout the day. It is essential that parents and teachers bring their togs (wetsuits optional) and are prepared to be in the water up to their waists.  Seniors will be biking, weather permitting. We definitely need help to transport the tamariki please.
All day activity- starting 9am to 2.30pm
