To be eligible to join Snowsport Scotland, member organisations must:-
1. Deliver services/products that are aligned to the 3 broad strategic objectives of Snowsport Scotland which are:-
a) Creating snowsports participation opportunities
b) Providing snowsports training or coaching to trainees
c) Providing snowsports education or qualifications to the snowsports workforce
2. Have a legal structure appropriate to the scale and objectives of your organisation and be appropriately registered with HMRC and/or Companies House.
3. Have evidence of an experienced management team and suitable SOP's (standard operating procedures) compliant with industry standards.
5. Having up to date policies for:-
a) Data Protection
b) Safeguarding (only required if you work with U18's)
c) Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
d) Volunteers Code of Conduct
e) Anti-Doping (only required if you work with competitive athletes)
f) Health and Safety (+ Risk Assessments that comply with HSE and industry standards.)
6. Provide all the requested information including any snowsports participation data, which is then combined with sector-wide data, to support applications to sportscotland, Scottish Government and other national agencies for funding to support the sport and sector.
