At Sex Positive we will embrace all things sexual, and while we might celebrate sexuality, we might also just talk about it like it’s literally any. other. topic. There’s no reason to stigmatize sexual content as weird, naughty, taboo, nasty, distasteful, offensive or off-limits. At the end of the show, acts will be invited on stage to participate in a group conversation about any sexual topics explored that night.

There nothing wrong with having sex. There's nothing wrong with liking sex. And there nothing wrong with talking about it...or even making a whole show around it.

There are only two rules to sex, that it be 1.)SAFE and 2.)CONSENSUAL for all parties involved and those same guidelines apply to show content. Any and all sex-centric content is welcome as long as it does not promote or celebrate anything unsafe or non-consensual. We're looking for everything, any kind of performance about or inspired by sex, from those extremely comfortable with their sexuality, to those still unsure of it. Virgins, Aces, and first-time performers are absolutely welcome. Our audience and performers exist everywhere on that spectrum, wherever you are on it, you are not alone and someone will connect with your performance and the feelings behind it. We do ask that you ensure your performance is well-rehearsed because this we want to offer our audience the best experience possible. There will be no rehearsals for the show itself so it is incumbent upon you to take the time to ensure you are able to perform at your best.
