Course Summary

This short-term course is focused to enhance the fundamental and practical skills of the participants in the field of electronics. Individuals with fundamental knowledge of electronics will have the ability to get absorbed into repair & maintenance practices and other local electronics, power and consumers’ electronics market. This course has the potential to prepare the students to pursue higher education at Faculty of Engineering and Physics (Electronics) by enhancing their basic skills. This face-to-face course will give opportunity to the students to get involved in laboratory practices along with theoretical study.

Entry requirements
Admission to this course would require candidates to have CSEC/Physics or equivalent knowledge.

 Enrolment

Since the prerequisite for this course is CSEC Physics / Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent, so this short-term course is suitable for those who are interested in electronics systems, troubleshooting and maintenance of electronic systems including current and post graduate students and members of the general public with equivalent prerequisites.

Duration

The planned classes will be each Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The course will start on July 22, 2023, and end on August 26, 2023.

Mode
Since this course is practical/laboratory oriented, the mode of the course is Face-to-Face with Theoretical classes from 9am - 11am and Practical classes from 11am - 1 pm.
