EXAMPLE ANSWER: As a finance professional, part of my role requires maintaining and organizing various financial reports. Instead of manually re-writing formulas and changing the cell references, I was able to leverage the $ to anchor parts or all of the cell reference when copying and pasting formulas. I was also able to create a few additional fields in the summary report using SUMIFS only for specific time periods. Lastly, I was able to clean some of the raw data that was exported from our primary database using TRIM which saved me from manually removing spaces. All together these improvements will save me about 1 hour per week.
