Classes & Fees
Group Classes: $160/month/person (4 x 30-minute lessons)
- Little Hatchlings: Parents & Babies in the pool together (Max 8 per group)
- Penguins 1: Beginners (Max 3 per group)
- Penguins 2: Intermediate (Max 4 per group)
- Penguins 3: Advanced (Max 4 per group)
Semi-Private: $200/month/person (2 persons in a class = $400/class, 4 x 30-minute lessons)
Privates: $300/month/person (4 x 30-minute lessons)
About Us
We are based at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Old Greenwich. Offering structured lessons for beginners of all ages. Debby is a highly qualified instructor (Red Cross Certified), with 28 years of experience, she has a passion for sport and a love for teaching. Having 4 kids of her own she has the valuable experience of knowing how to interact with children to get results. At Little Penguins we believe swimming is a life skill and should be taught with integrity, trust and compassion. 

An early start in swimming prevents aquaphobia and allows one to take advantage of the strong reflexes that babies are born with. In our baby and moms / toddler classes Debby teaches in a loving and caring way

  • By routine and repetition

  • Water orientation

  • Safety Skills in and around the pool

  • Skills and preparation for swimming of different strokes

  • Breath control through means of verbal, physical and physical cues prior to submersion

Swimming with your baby has many great benefits such as:

  • Special and uninterrupted bonding time with your baby

  • Great for coordination and balance 

  • Builds muscle strength

  • Improves babies sleeping patterns and appetite

  • Build water confidence

Classes are available as Groups, Semi-Private (2) and Private Lessons. Our schedules are Monday to Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm.

In the Spring and Summer Debby will also host private lessons in the comfort of your home.

For Kids Pool Parties we offer LifeGuards that will come to your venue of choice.
